About Me

Over a decade ago, I left the wilderness of my youth for the comforts of the city. To the west lies the Puget Sound and the Olympics, to the east, the Cascades. On very lucky days, I can spot the peak of Mount Rainier. Everything is so green here, and wide open. But I miss the close-packed pine trees of home, the red clay dirt. I am an exile of the South.

I am the co-editor of Xelas Magazine which I founded in 2006.

My poetry has appeared in The Adirondack Review, Orbis Magazine, The Wolf, Rock Salt Plum Review, and Apple Valley Review. I am currently finishing my first volume of poetry and a collection of short stories.
